MissionCute December 2014

I'm back to share another MissionCute box with ya'll. December's was nothing short of amazing and 50% of net proceeds went to Seed of Health!!!

Seed of Health has a mission of improving population health of underserved communities around the world. We are a team of UC Berkeley students and alumni who are passionate about making a tangible impact on global health care. We seek to empower local health care professionals and establish self-sustaining clinics to help underserved communities plant and nurture “seeds of health” for better, healthier lives. Our main objectives are to increase the availability of medical and health care services and to provide health education for the communities we serve. In order to maximize medical access, our clinics will serve as training centers for mid-level providers who serve patients in rural communities. Our clinics will also function as epidemiology research facilities for the underserved communities, investigating the prevalence of diseases and standardizing treatment protocols to advance the global health care one step further. We believe that quality health care is a fundamental human right, and we envision a world where everyone has access to health care. We will turn this vision into a reality one community at a time, one seed of health at a time.

And now on to THE BOX... so many goodies were packed in there. A gorgeous scarf (which I'm wearing today at the office), a vanilla bean lotion, a pickle ornament (and an explanation of the legend!), a ring, and a cute calendar (which I also have hanging in my office).

I just absolutely love the fact that each item is from a small business. If you love everything about MissionCute just like I do, please follow my personal invitation to join!

XoXo
