Another month gone by, another MissionCute box delivered to my front doorstep! And this month 50% of net proceeds are going to Naked Heart Foundation, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no child with living parents ends up in an orphanage or a children’s home. "We are working to tackle the stigma of disability, so that no parent feels pressured to give up a disabled child. MissionCute, December 2015

I can't believe that today is already December 21st and that means another MissionCute box was delivered to my front doorstep! This month 50% of net proceeds are going to Kulture City, an organization founded in 2013 with the mission to create a world where all individuals with autism and their families are accepted and treated equally. From their website: "We provide tangible help, fulfilling the here and now needs for these children and their families. The journey of autism and any other special needs diagnosis is life-long and often can be isolating. Furthermore, resources are hard to find and limited. Families often struggle to fit into the community.  We created programs aimed at serving these children directly, for instance our art and music camps. Assistance in the form of scholarships, connections to the appropriate service providers, educational workshops and much more are offered by KultureCity."

An A+ organization if you ask me! Now to show you the goodies in this months box:

MissionCute, May 2015

Another month gone by, another MissionCute box delivered to my front door step! And this month 50% of net proceeds are going to ImprovingBirth, an organization with a mission to bring respectful, evidence-based care to childbirth. Evidence-based care is based on the highest quality, most current medical evidence, tailored to the individual. We believe that women can make safer, more informed decisions about their care and that of their babies when they are given full and accurate information about their care options, including the potential harms, benefits, and alternatives. Respectful care in childbirth acknowledges the humanity of the woman giving birth, her autonomy and her fundamental right to make decisions about her body and her baby. We believe that childbearing women, like all human beings, should be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Respectful care is essential to minimizing emotional trauma to women at a vulnerable time in their lives.

Awesome right? I'm sure being pregnant and giving birth can be scary especially for a first time mama and I just love that this organization advocates for the mama to be educated about her body and her options. Now moving on to the goodies in this months box!!! A cute print, manicure set, polish, necklace, and bracelet made this one of my favorite boxes. But heck I say that every month. It's hard not to love each and every thing!

MissionCute March 2015

I received March's MissionCute box last week and it is benefiting 3Seams!!! 3seams is a social enterprise dedicated to creating jobs in the developing world. 3seams, Incorporated is our 501(c)(3) organization that establishes locations, plants programming, and facilitates all training for our various programs around the world. 3seams Global is our LLC that takes care of all supply purchasing, payment of labor, and marketing/sales of our product lines. This means that 100% of your tax-deductible donations will go directly to growing our programs on the ground and facilitating the start up of new ones! Through the art of sewing, men and women are being taught skills that can change the trajectory of their future and the future of their family.  By creating a product line that can be sold in their local market place or in the United States, they are learning skills that will set them up for a lifetime in the textile industry. 3seams is a organization dedicated to two issues.  First, we are passionate about JOB CREATION in the developing world…bringing new found HOPE, through employment, to those caught in the grips of poverty.  Secondly, we are committed to creating opportunities for people, just like YOU, to purchase top quality products and truly make a difference through the purchase. Our hope is to also create a platform for families to discuss global issues at home. Whether through our product, through our blog, or through a Stateside event, we are committed to making a difference both in America and in the developing world.

What a great cause, right!? The thing that I love most about MissionCute is that 50% of net proceeds go to a different charity each month. Pretty amazing if you ask me. So by becoming a member, you receive tons of cute goodies AND you give back all at the same time!!! Win, win.

Now moving on to THE BOX. Lots of cuteness that I'm excited to use, especially the boho twist which can be worn a few different ways!

MissionCute February 2015

Another MissionCute post and if you ask me, they never get old! How could getting a surprise gift each month get old? It's something I look forward to. I also love learning about the different charities. This months non profit was RAINN. RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and was named one of "America's 100 Best Charities" by Worth magazine. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) in partnership with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims, and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

Now moving onto all of the goodies (each from a small business!) in the box:

5x7 "You are so loved" print

Layered necklace

MissionCute January 2015

My box has arrived and this month it is benefiting One Simple Wish! In 2006, Danielle Gletow and her husband Joe became foster parents and it changed their lives forever. Watching as an 18 month-old little boy nervously entered their home wearing a coat two sizes too big after being removed abruptly from his abusive home, The Gletows knew they had to do more for children in foster care. One Simple Wish was born in 2008 to empower more people to support children who've been victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment in very simple yet meaningful ways. Children deserve happy childhoods. One Simple Wish creates them.

What a great cause, right!? The thing that I love most about MissionCute is that 50% of net proceeds go to a different charity each month. Pretty amazing if you ask me. So by becoming a member, you receive tons of cute goodies AND you give back all at the same time!!! Win, win.

Now moving on to this months BOX. Lots of goodies that I'm raving over and can't wait to use including a gorgeous long pearl necklace. And this tumbler.... you can never have enough cute tumblers! Perfect for your morning drink... whether you prefer lemon water or iced coffee, tumblers are best for on-the-go.

Isn't this print adorable? All I need is a frame to put it in, but in the meantime it is making its mark on my fridge!

How about this head band? I have a feeling I will be wearing this a lot.

And this travel jewelry/make up bag. The quality of this is impeccable. I can't believe this was included in the box to be honest. I'm thinking I might use this for the make up I carry in my purse.
