It's time for another Wine & Wish post where I share a new wine to try as well as a beautiful home to envy and wish for while sipping said wine! It's my favorite thing to do after a long days work or on a Saturday afternoon and I love sharing my finds with you!

Wine

 Aromatic herbaceous notes balanced seamlessly with hints of cut capsicum, Finnish blackcurrant leaf and freshly squeezed lemon. The palate expresses intense fresh grassy and tropical fruit characters, leading into a crisp but lingering finish. The wine shows a precise balance of structural acidity and vibrant varietal flavors, a true expression of the season and vineyard.

Another season of Southern Charm is back on Bravo and it's safe to say I am obsessed! Who else adores Patricia, Whitney's mom? She is Southern charm to a t!! And so is her beautiful home, the Isaac Jenkins Mikell House. Gosh I would just love to live in a mansion like this one!

It's time for another Wine & Wish post where I share a new wine try as well as a beautiful home to envy and wish for while sipping said wine! It's my favorite thing to do after a long days work or on a Saturday afternoon and I love sharing my finds with you!

I guess it's no secret why I decided to try this wine {I love dogs}. I wonder if there is a pit bull wine... now that would be my calling! Okay about the Lab wine... loaded with ripe berry flavors, this versatile, food-friendly red is an ideal entry point for those new to wine—it's just as tasty with seared salmon as it is with a cozy bowl of chili. And at less than $10, this Portuguese red is easy to enjoy by the case all season long.

You guys, I am a BIG real housewives fan and today I am drooling over Kyle Richards' gorgeous Beverly Hills home {yes, she has multiple homes so I had to be specific}. I think purple is a hard color to decorate with but I love how Kyle used it in her formal dining room!

Wine & Wish {Featuring Mer Soleil Silver}

Welcome to another edition of "Wine & Wish" where I feature a new wine to try as well as a beautiful home you can drool over and wish for while sipping said wine! It's my favorite thing to do after a long days work and I love sharing my finds with y'all.

Flaxen in color and fresh from start to finish, the 2013 vintage opens up with aromas of fruit blossoms and Meyer lemon. Bright citrus shines through on the palate, with a crisp acidity and depth that belies the wine's unoaked character. On the finish: a lingeringfreshness that creates a perfect complement to salads, grilled seafood, tomato-based dishes and fresh oysters. Mer Soleil Silver is not a typical Chardonnay, and its bottle is equally distinct. We've used ceramic instead of glass, inspired by the concrete fermenters that create this wine's singular character. For us, that character stems from a true sense of place, grapes grown in ideal conditions and winemaking techniques that break from tradition to create something new.

Intense black purple color. On the nose, its aromas of plum, spices and red pepper stand out while delicate notes of mint can also be perceived. In the mouth, it is a very harmonious and balanced wine, with round tannins and a long finish. "A beautiful red here with light chocolate, berry and nutmeg character. Full body, with ultra-fine tannins and a long, long finish. All here. A blend of malbec, cabernet sauvignon, and petit verdot."

Wine & Wish {Featuring Mitolo The Jester}

Wine

The Jester Shiraz 2012 displays dark red color with darker quite brooding fruit profile of plum, black currant and olive, with a slight herbal lift. Full flavored, soft and generous with dark fruit flavors of plum and blackberry. Bright acidity gives the wine a great energy, a real hallmark of this vintage, and leads to a long, savory finish.

This little powder room is certainly not your average. I adore the detailed ceiling... especially because it contrasts with the dark blue walls. The gold mirror and lighting are perfect accents that really tie in the gorgeous ceiling color. It's not often that you see dark walls in a small room but this is the perfect example that it CAN work!!

Wine & Wish {Featuring Charles & Charles}

Wine



Aromas are dominated by quince, Pippin apples and notes of spice, molasses and warm caramel. These flavors carry on to the palate where they also pick up slight tropical notes of guava and wet stones. The palate is quite rich and broad, but still vibrant and lingers on the finish.

Where do I start with this dining room? I can only imagine having a dinner party in a room like this! The detail in the ceiling, walls, and floors is just impeccable. The designer truly did an amazing job. Normally I do not like purple but in this room, the touches of color in the drapes and tassels really speaks to me.

Wine & Wish {Featuring Innocent Bystander}

On the nose, the Innocent Bystander has aromas of cotton candy, sherbet, pink grapefruit and mandarin with an undertone of toffee apple. On the palate, flavors of rose water, toffee apple and rhubarb crumble. The wine finishes with a spritzy fizz of fresh pear and raspberry characters. Perfect food pairings include a bowl of fresh fruit and clotted cream and it also makes amazing Turkish Delight and sorbet. A great partner to Sunday morning brunch and one of the few wines that goes with blue cheeses.

Wine & Wish {Featuring Lillet}

Lillet Blanc is a medium color white wine, made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes. That noses of honey and orange and a hint of mint. While the nose may lead you to expect a sweet dessert wine taste, in fact Lillet Blanc with taste and a firm bitterness, which suddenly diminishes, leaving a lingering trace of orange, honey and bitterness on the palate.

The coziness of this picture makes me want to cuddle up with a book or have a date night with my hubby watching a new movie. Can you just look at that over-sized pillow on the floor!? LOVE!!! All you need to do is grab a bottle of Lillet and you have the most perfect relaxing evening.

Wine & Wish {Featuring Avalon}

The Avalon California Cabernet shows bright vibrant aromas of blueberry jam, strawberry tart, and boysenberries with hints of vanilla and toasted oak. A dash of Zinfandel give this wine a hint of spice that is followed by rich black cherries, red raspberries, and juicy ripe plums on the long smooth finish.

Pair with grilled prime sirloin burgers with sharp cheddar cheese, brick oven baked Margherita pizza, smoked or rotisserie chicken.

I love everything about Lisa Vanderpump's home and style. She has such a chic and flawless look going on. I love how she pulls different elements and colors together. I used this picture of her drapes with tassels as inspiration for my bedroom drapes. Another thing that I admire about her home is the fresh flowers and plants that she always has!

Welcome to Wine & Wish, a series that I am starting because of my love for sipping on wine while fantasizing about my dream home. It's my favorite thing to do after a long day of work! So lets get right to it shall we!?

Vinho Verde, the most popular white wine from Portugal, is a deliciously refreshing, light wine. "Verde", meaning "Green" refers to the hints of lime color. It is an ideal warm weather wine, excellent for lunch and picnics, or an evening aperitif. It makes a brilliant pairing with any fish, shellfish and poultry.

I just love the simplicity of this bathroom and the color of blue that was chosen. That ottoman is to die for and I can picture it in a formal living room as well. I have a love for trays because I think it is a great way to visually organize multiple items. And that tub: swoon!
