Family Photoshoot on The Beach

On Thursday August 31st Jon and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. That evening at 5:30 pm we met a photographer under the Ocean City inlet pier to capture a few moments of our family. We knew that with a 3 month old it would be very hard to get decent pictures... It all depended on her mood. Luckily, she was happy but tired and a bit obsessed with her shoes {she's her mama's girl for sure} so she looked down a lot. But I'm so happy with how they turned out and these are the ones I will definitely be framing!

Ocean City 2017 Recap

We just returned from staying at our family beach house in Ocean City, Maryland for a week. Every year we go down for the last week of August because we like to be there while celebrating our wedding anniversary {August 31st}. We always return on the Sunday of labor day weekend because we like to avoid the traffic of everyone coming back on Monday to get to work on Tuesday. We made the mistake of sitting in 8 hours worth of traffic one year and vowed to never do it again!

It wouldn't be a Ciemny vacation without a couple of hiccups like torrential downpour, a flat tire, colder weather, and finding out that swim diapers don't actually hold urine {mom fail} but we didn't let any of that effect us! We were able to spend a few days at the beach, enjoy the pool, take a drive out to Assateague Island, shop the outlets, walk the boardwalk, have a date night, play mini golf, and get professional photos done on the beach {I'll share those pictures later this week, so check back here}... all with juggling our baby's nap times and early bedtime!

This is our cute little beach house... and it's for sale too!

We are on the bay side at 117th street

My husband seriously has no idea how lucky he is that his wife is as simple as it comes when doing hair and make-up! {Plus I just don't like packing a lot so I left most things at home} - Mai Tai Sea Salt Spray

But when it comes to taking the baby to the beach, I make sure we have EVERYTHING!

Vacation Recap {Photo & Video Dump}

Hi guys, I'm back from Aruba! We landed back in Baltimore late Saturday night and I spent all day yesterday doing laundry and stuff around the house so today is my first day back to the grind and I'm sure it'll take me a few days of playing catch up. I have to say although I enjoyed relaxing for a week, I am totally ready to get back into the swing of things! Here's a little bit of a recap for y'all of our trip: I booked it using cheapcaribbean.com and everything went smoothly {the only problem I had is that I had to call the airline to get my confirmation number... Cheap Caribbean did not give it to me... but that took me all of maybe 2 minutes}, we landed in Aruba on a Saturday and stayed at the Tamarijn Resort All Inclusive where we enjoyed not having to worry about food and drink cost while we were there, our room opened right onto the ocean and that was easily the best perk... I loved spending my days there, on Monday we ventured into town and did some shopping and eating, Wednesday afternoon Jon played a round of golf at The Links at Divi, on Thursday we took a jeep tour {by DePalm} to go snorkeling in the Natural Pool which was definitely the highlight of our trip, and Saturday afternoon we flew back home! Please enjoy the following pictures and video of our trip...
