Miracle Message #95
I am loving Gabby Bernstein's new book Miracles Now that just came out the beginning of April. If you're a "spirit junkie" like me, are trying to find your way through life, or are just interested in learning more about how to create a stress free life I definitely recommend reading her newest book. It has 108 tips and I personally like to read 1 each day. Today's miracle message really got me and I wanted to share:

Restaurant Review, Ryleigh's Oyster House
Name: Ryleighs Oyster House
Location: 22 W Padonia Road Timonium, Maryland 21093 in the middle of a business park. Yes, a business park. It is the most random and awkward location. You might miss it if you drive by and don't see the signs for it. For being in Timonium, it is convenient in the fact that it is right by an 83 exit so you can easily travel from Towson, downtown Baltimore, or northern Maryland. Ryleigh's also has a location in Federal Hill.
Prices: Our total bill was $68 and we got 4 beers (2 Michelob's and 2 loose canons), crab dip appetizer ($14), crab cake sandwich ($15), and lobster roll ($18). I was going to get a glass of wine but they were $9-$11 (I like to pay around $7 for a glass of house wine at a casual restaurant) and their crushes were $8 (I like to get crushes when they are on happy hour for $5). Go ahead, call me cheap ;)
Food: The crab dip was really good! Not too creamy or thick and had a lot of crab meat in it. Although Jon and I think it was all claw meat, not jumbo lump. It was only served with 4 pieces of bread so we had to ask for more. But the dip was enough for us to take about half home.
The crab cake sandwich was a good size and served with tartar sauce and spinach. The tartar sauce was REALLY sweet. Looking back, I would have asked for it on the side. My sandwich was served with fries. We asked for sides of ranch to dip our fries in. It took them a while to bring it out to the table but when it arrived it was well worth the wait. Their ranch is home made on the spot!
Jon got the lobster roll and it was really tasty and served with crispy onions on top. The lobster was inside a roll that reminded me of a grilled cheese... very buttery and oh so good. Some places serve lobster rolls cold and open faced. We liked that this one was served warm and in a roll.
Ambiance: We sat on the outside terrace. Like I said, the restaurant is in a business park so it was kind of awkward sitting outside next to a weight loss companies office. Tables were wood, chairs were metal, and tables were set with linen napkins. Our server did not bring us waters when we sat down (even though when we got there, there were 2 glass specifically for water- they sat empty the entire meal) but other than that, she was attentive. All in all, food was good but I'm not running back. Maybe it was the atmosphere and I'd have a different perspective had we gone to the one in Federal Hill?

Easter Basket Blog Hop Part 2
Last week I shared the Easter baskets I put together for Corrado and Harley but I just realized that I never got the chance to share the basket I put together for Jon.
XoXo
I had such a hard time finding a manly basket. I somewhat accomplished this with the orange and blue but there IS some pink in there :/ oh well!
His Easter basket contains some candy essentials- Reese's eggs and peeps! As well as some summer essentials- Burt's bees Chapstick and old spice Fiji body wash. I finished off with some of Jon's favorites- gourmet blackened seasoning, red bull, and some spicy jalapeño Doritos.
Want to link up? You simply share the Easter egg logo below in your post along with a few photos of the basket you put together .....whether that be for your minis, husbands, pups or whomever!! Link back to this post so your readers can stop by and check out everyone's fun Easter baskets!

Five on Friday the Positives and Negatives of My Week
Ever have one of those ups and downs kinda weeks? Yeah that was my week over here.
1. + Wedding invitations arrived on Wednesday!! Now I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself since they don't need to go out for a good while but I just wanted to be able to check them off of my longgggg list of things to do. I ordered them online from Wedding Paper Divas and used the coupon code "TKNOT0414" for 15% off plus since I went through Ebates, they paid me $11.82 back. I am so excited about my invitations because they match my wedding website. You can check out my website here :)
2. - I did way too much laying around. My fiance was sick and throwing up for 2 days so maybe that had something to do with it? Either way I hate feeling lazy especially since during the week I'm only home for a few hours at night anyways; So I'd rather be actually doing something. Time to make up for my laziness this weekend!
3. - Every single day this week at work seemed to last a gazillionnnnn hours. Definitely needed coffee to get me through the end of each work day :(
4. - I picked out a gorgeous nail color by OPI except for when it actually dried, it looked nothing like what it did in the bottle. I was so disappointed! (and of course did not want to be a pain and ask the nail technician to repaint my nails) Not that it looks terrible or anything... it's just not my color. I prefer something a little lighter and more pink. This color would look really good around Christmas time though!
5. + You may have seen my post from yesterday... I'm already moving on to the next holiday, Cinco de Mayo!!! With my new chalkboard printable in my frame, I'm getting super pumped and created a new board on Pinterest for all of my festive ideas- check it out here!!!

All in all the positives will ALWAYS outweigh the negatives and my negatives really aren't that bad anyway! Just thought it'd be a fun little thing to compare on this Five on Friday :)

Cinco de Mayo
& I'm already moving on to the next holiday lol I can't tell you how excited I am for Cinco de Mayo! I just LOVE holidays and a reason to celebrate. I'm currently torn between the idea of going out to Nacho Mama's for the festivities or just having something at home... my man DOES make a mean taco ;)

DIY Summer Dog Treats
This is so easy to make and will cool your dogs on a hot day while also keeping them occupied! We love to give these to our dogs while we eat dinner outside so they don't bother us lol
All you need is:
1. Containers of some sort (I used plastic bowls from the dollar store)
2. Broth (chicken or beef. I used beef- some dogs are allergic to chicken)
3. Treats (I used beggin littles)
4. Water
What to do:
1. Fill container half way with broth
2. Put a treat or 2 in it depending on how big your container is
3. Fill rest of the way with water
4. Freeze
5. You can serve it to them in the container or pop it out of the container and put it on the ground outside

Easter Basket Blog Hop
I'm linking up with The Good Life Blog to share the Easter baskets I put together this year. I do not have any children (yet) but I do have two special dogs to spoil!
So without further ado, let me show you their Easter baskets. They each got a summer essential... life jackets! They love to swim but one of them (aka Harley) isn't so good at it- Last year he nearly gave mama a heart attack. And so enter doggy life jackets! They also each got a kong toy (not that they don't already have a huge basket full of toys or anything) and a bag of treats :)
Want to link up? You simply share the Easter egg logo below in your post along with a few photos of the basket you put together .....whether that be for your minis, husbands, pups or whomever!! Link back to this post so your readers can stop by and check out everyone's fun Easter baskets!

They love squeak toys and I thought "why not get them these?". Well, I'm kind of regretting that- These kong squeak toys are SO LOUD. You can find them here and here. My dogs absolutely love them and in the meantime I'll just deal with the annoyance!
Harley was camera shy again and wouldn't let me get a picture of him with his new toy.

Easter Recap
I hope you all had an amazing Easter with your loved ones. This Easter was a little different for me because for the first time my hubby-to-be had to work and wasn't able to celebrate with family... in fact he worked doubles on both Saturday and Sunday. I truly admire his work ethic but I sure did miss him a lot! We had our traditional lunch and Easter egg hunt at my grandparents house. I made cupcakes of course! And then we decided to make reservations at Jon's restaurant for Easter dinner (so at least I got to see him for a little bit!). All in all it was a great Easter as always. Just wish I had my man with me all day :)
